Fun Seekers is a monthly program of fun and friendship for people of all ages. Some activities are held at the church and others are planned outings.  Come to any of the events that appeal to you. You'll soon meet some delightful people and have so much fun, you will want to attend them all. Our next event is on Sunday, March 22 when we invite you to enjoy Pizza and Bowling.  Pizza will be available at the church at 12:15 p.m. for $6.  Then we travel over to Bowlerama at 5429 Dundas Street West for five pin bowling.  Show rental is $3.50 for adults or $2 for children and people 55 years and over, and bowling two games each is $9.  You are welcome to join in all or any part of the the fun.

Sunday, April 18 “Ignatius Jesuit Organic Farm Tour”
Would you like to enjoy a wonderful day together in the country, learning about organic and sustainable agriculture?   The Ignatius Jesuit Farm, located on 260 acres 1 km north of Guelph, has evolved since 1913 to become a model for sustainable agriculture, harmonizing consumer demand for nutritious locally grown food with a commitment to preserving and enhancing the environment.  Lorne Jamieson, the farm manager, will give us a tour of the greenhouse and farm operation, and speak with us about their ethic of land stewardship and the humane treatment of farm animals.  A sign up sheet is on the table in the hallway and we will car pool from Richview United Church leaving at 1:30 p.m. and returning around 5:00 p.m..  Please bring a contribution toward gas for the driver.

Saturday, May 29 10:00 a.m.
“Canadian Air and Space Museum
- Wings & Wheels Festival”

The museum building is the original home of de Havilland Aircraft of Canada Ltd (the oldest surviving aircraft factory in Canada), the birthplace of the famous Beaver and Otto bush planes which opened the Canadian North, and where engineers assembled and tested the first Canadian satellite, Alouette I, establishing Canada as the third nation in space.
This national heritage celebrates the aerospace accomplishments of Canadians, aeronautical innovation, aircraft manufacturing, military aviation, air transport and the pure joy of flight. The Museum contains full-size aircraft from the days of wood and fabric open cockpit biplanes to a replica of the magnificent Avro CF-105 Arrow supersonic interceptor, and space innovations.  This annual Wings and Wheels weekend offers demonstrations, workshops and opportunities to experience and explore aircraft generally not accessible to the public.  Car pools will leave from the church at 10: a.m.. $15 Adults 18-59 years, $10 Students 10-17 years, $10 Seniors 60+, $30 Family 2 adults + 2 Children, Free Children 9 years and younger.

Adult Co-ed Basketball runs from September to May on Sunday evenings between 7pm and 9pm and is open to everyone over the age of 16.  You do not need experience.  We have a good mix of ages and skill levels and we partner up according to the level at which we want to work.  Be sure to wear something comfortable and indoor gym shoes are recommended.  Although we have more laughs than dunks, it is a great way to meet new people while achieving a good cardio workout.  If you have any questions contact Clarence Squires through the church or drop by any Sunday evening from September to May.
