Prayer Group

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

We are a small, dedicated group of people who carry on this important part of Jesus’ ministry. We have a "Prayer Corner" at the front of our sanctuary where there is a wooden box to receive prayer requests for yourself, others, the church and the world.  There is also a Bible, candles, the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi, and a pamphlet on where to look in the Bible for words of comfort or inspiration to offer your support.  The prayer team regularly pray for the people and situations placed in the “Prayer Request” box, and meet to pray as a group on the second Friday of each month from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  All names and circumstances are kept in strictest confidence.

Our compassionate prayers add to the positive energy of our other healing ministries. All are welcome to make a request and/or join us to experience the power of prayer.
